This Shipping Policy explains how Nuvari Health, LLC ("Nuvari," "we," "us," or "our") and our clinical services partner fulfill and ship prescription protocols ordered through nuvarihealth.com. By placing an order, you agree to the terms below.
Nuvari ships to all 50 US states and the District of Columbia. We do not ship internationally, to US territories (Puerto Rico, US Virgin Islands, Guam, American Samoa, Northern Mariana Islands), or to APO/FPO military addresses at this time.
Eligibility for a specific protocol is confirmed by your physician during the assessment review and depends on your medical history, the protocol selected, and any applicable state-level restrictions on the medication.
Nuvari is a wellness storefront and technology platform. We do not handle, store, dispense, or ship medications. Once a licensed physician (provided through our clinical services partner) issues a prescription, the prescription is routed to a licensed US compounding pharmacy. The pharmacy compounds and ships your medication directly to the address on file in your account.
The dispensing pharmacy is the merchant of record for the medication itself. Nuvari's role is limited to storefront services, account management, customer support, and shipping coordination.
If you are an active Nuvari member, standard shipping is included in your monthly membership at no additional cost. Applicable sales tax is also included.
For non-member or one-time purchases, shipping cost is calculated at checkout based on your destination and the carrier's rates. Applicable sales tax is also calculated at checkout based on your shipping address. Both line items are displayed before you complete the order — there are no hidden fees.
Expedited or overnight shipping may be available for an additional fee, depending on the medication and the dispensing pharmacy's policies. When available, the upgrade option will be shown at checkout.
From the time you complete your assessment to the time your medication arrives, the typical timeline is:
These are typical timelines, not guarantees. Carrier delays, weather, holiday volume, controlled-substance hold periods, and physician follow-up requests may extend delivery. You will receive a tracking number by email when your medication ships.
The dispensing pharmacy selects the carrier based on the medication's handling requirements, your destination, and shipping speed. Common carriers include UPS, FedEx, and USPS Priority. Specialty couriers may be used for medications requiring strict temperature control or specific delivery windows.
Several Phase 1 protocols (including GLP-1 weight management, peptide therapy, NAD+, and certain hormone protocols) require refrigeration. These medications are shipped in insulated containers with cold packs to maintain proper temperature throughout transit. Cold-chain shipments may use expedited services to minimize time in transit.
When you receive a cold-chain shipment, refrigerate the medication immediately upon arrival. Most cold packs remain effective for 48–72 hours; some warming during transit is normal and does not necessarily compromise the medication. If you receive a shipment that appears compromised (cold packs fully thawed, container damaged, medication leaking, or arrival significantly delayed), do not use the medication. Follow the lost or damaged package procedure in Section 9.
Some shipments may require an adult signature on delivery, depending on the medication, the dispensing pharmacy's policy, and your state's regulations. If a signature is required, your tracking confirmation email will indicate this in advance. Packages requiring signature cannot be left unattended; the carrier will leave a notice for re-delivery if no one is available.
All shipments arrive in plain, unmarked packaging. The exterior does not display the medication name, the protocol name, "Nuvari," "pharmacy," or any indication of the package contents. Return address is the dispensing pharmacy.
If your tracking shows your package was delivered but you cannot locate it, or if your package arrives damaged or with compromised cold-chain packaging:
Federal pharmacy law prohibits pharmacies from accepting returned prescription medications. Reshipments of compounded medications, where approved, will be processed as a new fulfillment by the dispensing pharmacy.
You may change your shipping address at any time before a shipment has been processed by the pharmacy. Once the pharmacy has packed and labeled a shipment, the address cannot be modified. To update your address, go to your patient portal or contact hello@nuvarihealth.com.
The shipping address you provide must be a residential or business address where you can receive mail. We do not ship to PO Boxes for prescription medications, because adult signature confirmation and cold-chain handling require a physical delivery point.
If a shipment cannot be delivered (incorrect address, no recipient available for required signature after multiple delivery attempts, refused delivery, or other carrier-reported delivery failure), the package will be returned to the dispensing pharmacy. Federal law prohibits the pharmacy from re-dispensing returned prescription medications. Reshipment will require a new prescription fulfillment cycle and may incur additional shipping cost (member benefits permitting).
Carrier holiday schedules, severe weather, and natural disasters may delay shipments. We monitor known disruptions and will notify you by email if your shipment is materially affected. Such delays are outside Nuvari's and the carrier's control and do not entitle you to a refund or expedited reshipment.
For Phase 1 protocols that include controlled substances (such as testosterone, a Schedule III controlled substance), additional federal and state requirements apply, including DEA registration of the prescribing physician and dispensing pharmacy, electronic prescribing of controlled substances (EPCS), state prescription drug monitoring program (PDMP) reporting where applicable, and adult signature on delivery. Your physician and pharmacy will follow all applicable requirements; some controlled-substance shipments may take longer to process or have additional delivery restrictions.
We may update this Shipping Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a notice on our website. Your continued use of our services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
